On Kernel-Based Estimator of odds ratio using different stratified sampling schemes. Lead Investigator: Hani Samawi Institution : Georgia Southern University E-Mail : hsamawi@georgiasouthern.edu Proposal ID : 1102 Proposal Description: We are currently working on improving the diagnostic odds ratio by using efficient sampling design. To demonstrate the methodology, we are looking for the dataset with clinical biomarkers and gold-standard. We are proposing the efficient sampling design to estimate the diagnostic odds ratio for a disease. Currently our manuscript is in the final stages and I would be more than happy to share with you if required. Overall, in our research we are trying to show that how auxillary variables (Such as age) can be used to recruit individuals for the study and eventually reducing the required sample size. By doing this, we can make our conclusions with less number of participants cost effectively. In order to demonstrate our proposed statistical method with real world data (NCAA), we are considering several demographic, diagnostic and biomarker variables.
